About this product
This Shahoo convertible futon sofa bed features a faux leather upholstery in black, with foam-filled cushions and a metal base with silver block legs. It seats two and includes one throw pillow. The seat height is 14 inches with a 65-inch seat depth. Assembly is required and instructions are included. The sofa has a pillowy arm style and a solid pattern. Its compact dimensions (65x32x14 inches) make it suitable for living rooms or small spaces.
Our take
I picked up this Shahoo futon for a spare room, and it’s a solid budget option. The black faux leather looks sleek, though it’s not the most breathable material. The foam cushions are firm but comfortable for sitting. Converting it to a bed is straightforward. The included throw pillow is a nice touch. However, at 14 inches high, it sits very low—great for lounging but tough to get up from. Assembly required two people, and the tools provided are basic. For the price, it’s a decent temporary solution.
